Proof of the Journey, oh Happy Day!

Today is a happy day indeed. I've thought on and off about starting a little blog of my own for 2+ years (hello procrastination gold star) and I've finally decided to just do it. I knew it was time when I found myself mentally 'writing' and planning blog posts randomly throughout the day- on my run, opening a bottle of wine, whilst reading other blogs, in the bathroom (as my family and friends are aware, I try to spend as much time soaking in the tub as possible), etc. So, without further ado, welcome to the world Love, Leigh blog!

I love this thought, that laughter and happiness are not simply coping mechanisms we use to get through life, but rather reminders in our daily life that we're not here forever. We're part of something much larger. I promise this is about as sappy as I'll get. Life should be fun, beautiful and real. I've started Love Leigh as a way to share the things I love, what I'm up to, what's funny, pretty, interesting, etc. I'm a lot of things but perfect is definitely not one of them so I promise to keep it real.    Thanks for stopping by.
